  Sound Insulation in Builginds

Insulation generally means definitive results, such as separating it from its surroundings, disconnecting it from its surroundings, and in a slightly narrower sense, preventing the exchange of energy with the external environment. According to our observations, sound insulation is often thought of as a process that can often yield such a definite result by a majority of those who wish to make such a seal. However, the passage of sound energy from a wall, a floor, a window, or any section, can be reduced in certain proportions, but in practice, it cannot be precisely avoided. So the important thing is to reduce the noise. Sound or noise goes from one place to another in various ways. The most important means of passing through the sound is passing through the mass vibration. Passing through mass vibration is basically related to the weight of the building element (wall, floor, door, window) in kg / m². Basicaly, the higher the mass weight of a structural element, the higher the sound transmission loss. On the other hand, as the sound level dB is a logarithmic magnitude, in the case of a combination of structural elements with different mass weights (such as a wall with a window or door), the loss of sound transmission of the structural element will be close to the loss of sound of the glass or door independently their area to wall ratio.

In fact, as in the case of foreign languages, the use of (noise) transition loss and noise reduction in accordance with their definition would be more appropriate. Noise control in buildings is one of the important steps in the process of controlling the noise between the source and the receiver, and the sound insulation which can be defined as providing the necessary noise loss loss in the building elements such as doors, windows, walls, flooring is a sublementary step of this. It is clear that the creation of favorable conditions in buildings is an economic equivalent. So the basic question should be how to get the best at the cheapest. When approaching the issue from this point of view, first of all, the best should be defined. The best in terms of noise control is provided by keeping the sound level in indoor and outdoor spaces within the limits of acceptable noise level determined by the function of the space..

     Noise Control in Industrial Plants

Before the Industrial Revolution, relatively few people were exposed to high levels of noise in the workplace. With the emergence of steam power during the Industrial Revolution, attention was drawn to the danger of working in noisy places. It has been determined that the hearing loss in workers who produce steam boilers and called "boiler disease ”. Increasing mechanization in all industries and in most trade branches aggravated the noise problem. The noise levels at the work place, especially in the mechanized industry, are more severe and permanent than noise levels outside the workplace. Recognition, evaluation and control of industrial noise hazards are carried out by competent experts within our company.

One of the sources we can regard as industrial noise around us is the generator noise. You can see the basic approaches for generator noise here.
