Industrial buildings are primary structures where noise is a big problem. Ensuring that the employees work in the conditions they are in by making arrangements in accordance with the physical environmental conditions in the production areas is a matter that directly concerns the rights of the employees in terms of health requirements and working comfort. For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate the necessary regulations within the framework of the health guarantees and personal rights of the employees in order to provide appropriate acoustic conditions in the context of acceptable noise environment in production areas.
In order to provide an audibly appropriate working environment, a number of limitations have been introduced in both international and national standards and regulations for industrial buildings.
In these standards and regulations, in addition to the values for the noise levels that should not be exceeded in the facility in terms of worker and employer health, limit values are also given for the noise emitted from the industrial structure.
