Air Conditioning Systems and Chillers

Air conditioning systems and chillers (chiller) have different designs and efficiency values according to different manufacturers. These systems are generally used in places such as residences, shopping malls, hotels and business centers to ensure compliance with comfort standards. In this sense, such systems appear as cooling-heating systems such as cooling tower, chiller, rooftop, VRF systems, air conditioning units.

The sound insulation applications we have made to air conditioners and cooling groups are carried out without touching the devices and without any negative impact on the performance and maintenance activities of the devices. In this way, the devices are prevented from going out of warranty.

Chiller Fans

Fan and air noise is one of the main sources in coolers. The fan and air moving in the capacitor produce broadband noise. As the fan blades cut the air, they produce high pitched noise that can be a noise issue.

Bilge Akustik has designed and produced solutions for chiller condenser fans. These are low pressure drop mufflers with access sections located to facilitate fan maintenance access.

Low Static Pressure in Condenser Fans

Axial fans in chiller condensers do not have much static pressure. Mufflers selected from a catalog cannot work with these fans; because the pressure drop caused by system effects can suffocate the fans and cause the chiller to fail.

Bilge Acoustic chiller condenser fan silencers are specially designed with low static pressure drop so that chiller operation is not compromised due to the need for airflow.

Radiated Noise

Aside from fan and air noise, compressors are also a source of noise. Compressor noise can be irritating to those in sight, especially those close to the chiller.

Bilge Acoustic has designed barriers and enclosures for coolers that ensure that noise does not pose a threat to people near them. In some cases, all enclosures are designed and manufactured with mufflers at the inlet and outlet of the chiller. The cooler manufacturer's airflow concerns are addressed to the extent that the warranty will be honored.
